The story of Sand Point Airfuel & Freight is one of determination and hard work. Established in 2006 in the remote community of Sand Point, Alaska, the company’s journey is a testament to the grit it takes to build a successful business from the ground up.

Venture began not with fuel, but with freight. As a freight contractor, I navigated the unique logistical challenges of the Alaskan landscape and weather. It was during this time that I received a pivotal idea from a visiting crew: to venture into the aviation fuel business. Recognizing the potential and the need in my community, l took the idea and ran with it, pivoting my focus on a new horizon.

I have dedicated years of “blood, sweat, and tears” to transform that initial idea into a successful business. By establishing the company as an LLC and expanding services, Sand Point Airfuel & Freight has become a vital resource for the area. Today, the company proudly provides essential fuel services to residents, local businesses, and the aviation industry.
